A
Sister of Mercy and specialist in the areas of theological anthropology
and feminist theory, Mary Aquin co-founded Mount Saint Agnes after spending
twenty years in higher education. She has taught at Mount Saint Agnes
College, Convent of Mercy, Mobile, Vanderbilt University, Loyola College
of Maryland, Salve Regina College, and the University of Notre Dame
in South Bend. She often says that her time as Director of the Notre
Dame Foreign Studies Program in Jerusalem was excellent remote preparation
for beginning this theological center for women.  |

Diane
M. Caplin

Baptized
and single, Diane is the other co-founder of Mount Saint Agnes Theological
Center for Women. Her areas of special interest are feminist ethics,
business ethics and political theory. She keeps a weather eye out for
developments in the military as well. Diane was at Salve Regina College
for nine years, moving from staff positions to administration and teaching.
Before coming to Mount Saint Agnes she also taught at St. Louis University
and at Marquette.

Zann

Zann
has made it possible for Mount Saint Agnes to advance beyond other institutions
in the area by designing a totally computerized library of books, audiotapes
and videotapes; a user-friendly retrieval system; complete data bases
of donors, mailing lists, and inventories; and a website that has situated
the theological center in cyberspace. Zann is an active member of Amnesty
International and monitors developments related to human rights, with
special attention to women's rights, for Mount Saint Agnes.  |

Mary
Christopher Bourke, RSM

An
educator and a Sister of Mercy, Sister Mary Christopher was principal
of Mount Saint Agnes High School for twenty-five years and during some
of that time served as well on the Council of the Sisters of Mercy of
Baltimore. In the intervening years, she served as manager of the Generalate
in Bethesda, Maryland and worked to improve educational opportunities
for the staff of Stella Maris Hospice in Baltimore. In her "retirement,"
Sister Mary Christopher volunteers at Mount Saint Agnes, believing it
to be a new and important work of mercy. Some days, she sets tables
and does kitchen duty; others, she works with the directors on planning,
being especially astute where finances are concerned.  |

Sacha
Ludwig

Sacha
Ludwig is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University, Class
of 1998. She is a student of History, Literature, and Science with a
special passion for Irish and Gender Studies. As Special Assistant to
the Directors, Sacha manages the household and covers all tasks related
to publications, registrations and donations. Mount Saint Agnes, for
her, represents the next step on her scholastic and professional journey.
