Lydia and Priscilla - Role Models for Today
In this paper Johnson examines the roles of Lydia and Priscilla (as told in The Acts of the Apostles) as pioneers of the Christian faith. Though Acts does not provide much background on the women, Johnson's research gives important context to the story so that the reader is able to better appreciate the actions of Lydia and Priscilla. Johnson argues, also, that the risks these women took to lead/found Christian communities should be admired by 21st century Christians.
