In Memory of Her: The Annointing Woman (Mark 14. 3-9)
Johnson's paper is formulated as an explication of the story of the Anointing Woman (Mark 14.3-9). Johnson not only explains the passage, but also shares with the reader how the Anointing Woman serves as a paragon for all of humanity. She claims that the unnamed woman is the only character within the scene who truly understands Jesus' teachings and follows them wholeheartedly, despite criticism from others. Johnson argues that the actions of this woman remain relevant today, and should be considered quite admirable.
